Setting Up “Shipping” Discount Codes for Specific Ranks

How to Set Up

1. Go to the “Discounts” section in your Shopify admin, and click “Create discount.”

1. In the “Select discount type” modal, click “Shipping discount by rank.”



 

If an error message appears on the discount creation page, please refer to “What should I do if an error message appears on the discount creation page?” below.



 

2. Setting Up Shipping Discounts by Rank



Method

Select “Automatic discount.”

Title

Enter the name that will appear in the discount list (Customers will see this in their cart and at checkout).

 

3. Enter the target rank name(s).



[Ranky] Target Rank Name

The rank name that will be assigned to eligible customers after evaluation. Note: If the rank name does not match exactly, the discount will not be applied.

4. Enter "Minimum Purchase Requirements”



Enter a number (0 or more).

Note: The discount will apply if the subtotal (before discount is applied) is greater than or equal to the specified value.

5. Click “Save.”



 
 

Note: The discount will be saved as “Active” by default. If needed, you can select “Deactivate”. After reviewing the settings, make sure to reactivate it.

Notes on Discount Combinations

• If multiple combinable discounts are available, each will be applied to the subtotal.
• If multiple non-combinable discounts are available, the one with the largest discount amount will be applied automatically.
