What Is the Future Rank Calculation?
In Ranky, the feature that visualizes the path to the next rank is referred to as the Future Rank Calculation.
As of March 25, 2025, the future rank calculation feature is in BETA. This feature is available only to stores that meet the following requirements.
- Set the rank evaluation timing to “MONTHLY” or “YEARLY”
- Only the following condition types can be used in rank settings:
- “Total purchase amount during the evaluation period”
- “Number of purchases during the evaluation period”
- “Points (Dokopoi)”
Note: “Customer Tag” cannot be used as a condition type.
- Set rank levels in descending order, from highest to lowest. Note: Use the “greater than or equal to” condition when setting up rank requirements, and make sure ranks are configured in descending order. Ranks will not display correctly if “equal to” or “less than or equal to” conditions are used.

About Each Item
The customer’s current rank is displayed.

The current rank displayed is based on the value stored in the customer's metafield. Reference: How to check the rank assigned to a customer.
By editing the text or adding a text link, you can provide explanations about membership ranks or direct users to an external detail page.

Displays the conditions required to reach the next rank. The date displayed is one day before the next scheduled rank update. Reference: Scheduled Execution Timing

If the next scheduled rank is Bronze and the rank above Bronze is Silver, a message such as “Spend $150 more by the next rank update to reach Silver” can be displayed.

Once a purchase is completed, both the current amount and the remaining amount toward $150 will be updated.

When the conditions for Silver rank are met, and the next rank after Silver is Gold, the message will update to say, “Spend $300 more by the next rank update to reach Gold.”

If the conditions for Gold rank are met and Gold is the highest rank, the display will switch to the “Completed Description” message.

If either purchase amount or purchase count is set as a condition, the Aggregation Period will be displayed.
For example: Scheduled Execution: April 1 every year Aggregation Period: 12 months

The display is automatically updated based on the scheduled execution timing and aggregation period. Reference: Scheduled Execution Timing Reference: Aggregation period setting
You can display a note. For example, you can use it to show important reminders or warnings.
